Storyline Particles
Pays de Gex, on the French-Swiss border. P.A. and his homies are in their last year of high school. One hundred metres beneath their feet, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the most powerful particle accelerator in the world is crashing protons into each other to recreate the energic conditions of the big bang and detect previously unknown particles. As winter sets in and P.A. sees the world shifting around him, he starts to observe strange phenomena in the environment. The changes are imperceptible at first, but gradually his whole world seems to be on the brink.Movie details

Particle definition is - a minute quantity or fragment. How to use particle in a sentence.
In the physical sciences, a particle (or corpuscule in older texts) is a small localized object to which can be ascribed several physical or chemical properties such as volume, density or mass. They vary greatly in size or quantity, from subatomic particles like the electron, to microscopic particles like atoms and molecules, to macroscopic particles like powders and other granular materials.
Particle definition, a minute portion, piece, fragment, or amount; a tiny or very small bit: a particle of dust; not a particle of supporting evidence. See more.
Another year's instalment of flowers, leaves, nightingales, thrushes, finches, and such ephemeral creatures, took up their positions where only a year ago others had stood in their place when these were nothing more than germs and inorganic particles.Rays from the sunrise drew forth the buds and stretched them into long stalks, lifted up sap in noiseless streams, opened petals, and sucked out ...
Subatomic particle, any of various self-contained units of matter or energy that are the fundamental constituents of all matter. Subatomic particles include electrons, the negatively charged, almost massless particles that nevertheless account for most of the size of the atom, and they include the
Particle physics (also known as high energy physics) is a branch of physics that studies the nature of the particles that constitute matter and radiation.Although the word particle can refer to various types of very small objects (e.g. protons, gas particles, or even household dust), particle physics usually investigates the irreducibly smallest detectable particles and the fundamental ...
This Valve Saves Homes. Opti used Particle to bring this valve online and teach it how to check the weather. So, when Hurricane Irma hit Florida, this valve knew exactly where to put that rain before it even fell.
Behavior []. Particles are rendered as front-facing 2D sprites, meaning they always face the player. They disappear after a short animation, in which they may change sizes and rotate, and cycle between a number of animation sprites.
